That’s a pretty odd way to try and mug someone. The first kids body language definitely doesn’t read give me your wallet. Looks more like they're arguing, as after getting hit once he still tries to talk to the guy, and none of the others jump in. Those kids didn't look like they were fighting at all. The second kid has his hands in his pockets.

I think the kids are drunk. Definitely not a mugging. More of a slugging, and not very hard at that.
